This was my first semester at Cleveland State, and I was nervous as to what to expect, but Hilliard made the class feel comfortable, joked with us, and always clarified what his expectations were for the class and homework. Prof Biglow didn't follow the grading criteria that he had in the syllabus for the discussion questions. Although the class is hard, he does a great job teaching the material and making sure everyone understands everything. The final is a paper about a person of your choice who has suffered with drug abuse. Beautiful environment, kindest professors, great socially. I had a blast at Lone Star, I recommend it. Discussions and quiz for every chapter, midterm, final and a reflection paper. This class was highly informative and FUN. EVER LOYAL. His course work was easy as long as you read the text, watch the videos and try. The people are decent, except for the few bad apples. He clearly cares about his students and understands that Computer Science is hard for beginners. He is my favorite professor at UGA so far. The coding world gets super complex and so you would think you have to teach yourself a lot, but he perfectly gives you enough new stuff to challenge but not overwhelm you. He is extremely passionate about history and is very flexible with assignments. He is a great teacher who is very passionate. There are a lot of opportunities on campus to help better your future and lots of different ways to be social, but you actually have to leave your dorm first. He care about student and your grade. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get an A in this course unless you get 100% on every single assignment. ASTRO7N is an extremely easy A. I understand it's affordable but spend a little bit more if you want an actual education. Very, very harsh grader. I would study for days (sometimes even pulled all nighters) and couldn't get past a C on every single exam. The workbook we do together in class so you are more than prepared for the tests. Office hours were incredibly helpful and he was always willing to put in the effort so his students could succeed. The people are stuck up, rich, shallow, judgmental, and love drama. I regretted choosing this professor only because his lectures are insanely boring and he's never on topic. Brad is an awesome professor. The quality of education here is generally quite low. Four exams 60 questions each. If you have to take MGMT420 over Zoom, he's a good prof to have. Also, if we really wanna learn something, then easy grades are not what we should be looking for. He grades essays based on Netlogos, which isn't hard at all. A lot of the questions come from the game and study guide. Pros: Easy to navigate, online classes and in-person, low-cost tuition compared to other universities, a basement for getting around to classes is nice (especially during the winter) Cons: Not as social (depends on your major), clubs are hard to find, fraternities and sororities don't necessarily make sense here, parking passes are expensive We have to do a presentation on Zoom at the end of the year when its literally labeled as a WEB class. Everyone was so helpful and help me out when i was lost when coming on campus for the first time. He also never responds to his emails. The class was simply a breeze. the exams for this class are in person and pretty difficult and specific however if you do well on projects it can outweigh a poor test grade. It will get so much worse in the coming years as they are already past their carrying capacity and continue to accept increasingly more students. Take Professor Barnes! Stay away! definitely a difficult class, but barnes is a really good lecturer and he provides extra credit and will sometimes extend project deadlines.
